Imagine the perfect wine & spirits retail experience - we did. Now we've created it. We built this store in our heads a thousand times over the past twenty or so years. What we have distilled down into this location are the best ideas of an industry-wide search of what works, and what doesn't. Our goal is nothing less than to make Imbibe Wine & Spirits Merchant a leader in our field. Our brand new, state of the art retail facility has everything we've dreamed of during our 25 years in the wine and spirits business in Northern and Southern California. We're proud of the work we've done over the past 20 years in Southern California, building friendships with winemakers, winery owners, retailers and wholesalers throughout the state. Those partnerships mean we have the pulse of the industry well in hand, know which up-and-coming wineries are the ones to watch, know which regions are producing great values, and that we are constantly building our knowledge. We are confident you'll be impressed with our selections of wine, beer and spirits from around the world. We came home to Bakersfield in 2006 to be close to our families and to raise our children in a community we admire. Our goal is to provide you with the level of retail wine & spirits that is typically only available in vast metropolitan communities like Los Angeles or San Francisco. Imbibe Wine & Spirits Merchant will have the most comprehensive wine & spirits selection in central California, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who will gladly guide you through our large inventory. We're very excited to be able to present our wines to you in their proper environment, utilizing our cold room. We will guide you through different regions, producers and vintages using our Wine Bar to highlight both library selections (properly cellared, collectible bottles) and new releases. For those of you with wine collections of your own, we're excited and proud to offer Bakersfield's first temperature and humidity controlled wine storage facility on site.
