U.S. Army All Star Bowl

The U.S. Army All-Star Bowl currently has over a thousand participants including coaches, players and cheerleaders.  There are more than 20 volunteers and it One Vision Promotions’ commitment to the community and its kids to continue this unique game for future Kern County All Stars.  Last year’s game attended by more than 3,500 spectators of all ages and demographics.  The game has been broadcast live on local radio and cable television.  This year’s game is set to be broadcast via live streaming on KERO 23ABC.  Local nonprofits and community & faith based organizations benefit from the event by receiving free tickets to attend the game.  In 2009 the game began to award scholarships to players for their academic success and community involvement.  Since 2009 the game has awarded over $18,000 in scholarships to players and cheerleaders.

This unique event, which was once a crazy dream, is now one of the largest attended high school All-Star games in the state and is promoted months six months out of the year.  This event has truly become a community event which involves mentoring to youth, free tickets so hundreds of local youth may attend, scholarships so participants may further their education, and donations to local non profit organizations.
