Workshop Title: Art of Audiobook Narration (and Marketing)

NOTE: This meeting takes place on the 4th Saturday of June (not the usual 3rd Saturday).

Are you a writer looking for other writers to connect with? Have we got a deal for you. June is “open guest month” for Writers of Kern (WOK). We meet at Hodel’s Country Dining one Saturday a month for food, friendship and writing discussions. June’s speaker will be Robert Lane, who will be discussing the Art of Audiobook Narration (and Marketing).

Robert A. Lane is an Audiobook Coach & Producer as well as a Transformational Speaker. After working 30+ years in the entertainment industry, Robert founded Robert Lane Coaching in 2020 as a career and life coach, then expanded his business to help nonfiction authors narrate their own audiobooks by creating the “Your Book Your Voice” audiobook coaching program, getting authors published on Audible, Amazon & Apple Books in six weeks.

In June only, we welcome anyone who would like more information about WOK membership to attend the monthly workshop as a “guest member.” That means that the cost of the meeting and the entire breakfast buffet is only $20. You can save $5 by attending the June meeting. Just check in with our greeters and let them know you are there for the open guest month.
