SCREAMER Run and Halloween Festival

Overview

Get ready for Bakersfield’s spookiest night of the year! The first annual SCREAMER Run is more than just a race–it’s a full community festival featuring a vendor fair, food booths, a beer garden, live DJ entertainment, raffle prizes, and a kids' fun zone.

This event raises funds for AdaptiSport, a program under the nonprofit Health Through Wholeness 501(c)(3), which aims to support community health initiatives. AdaptiSport will be Bakersfield's first fully accessible wellness center for adults with disabilities, scheduled to open in 2026. Every registration and vendor booth helps expand life-changing programs and services. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit CSUB students with disabilities, further extending the event's impact on the community.

If you don’t want to run, no problem! You can still come out for free to enjoy the festival, food, and Halloween fun while supporting a great cause!
