GBLA 2nd Annual Gala & Recognition Ceremony

Overview

Join us for an evening honoring GBLA's dedicated staff, volunteers, and community partners. Our Annual Gala is an opportunity for our organization to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to our community, securing and promoting justice for others, particularly the indigent and underserved among us. This event celebrates their tireless efforts to advance justice and make a positive change in our community.

As GBLA's primary fundraising event of the year, the Gala supports our ability to provide free legal services to low-income and elderly residents in Kern County. Due to a decrease in funding from various sources, some of our programs, including our Domestic Violence Reduction Program and Homelessness Prevention, are at risk of being discontinued. Your donation will support maintaining these vital programs that help our most vulnerable community members.

Funds raised during our Gala will support programs at risk of sunsetting, such as our Domestic Violence Reduction Project and our Homelessness Prevention programs. Your support will enable us to continue providing free legal services to the most vulnerable members of our community.

The event experience will include an open bar cocktail reception, entertainment, grazing stations, dinner, dessert, and live and silent auction items featuring fabulous vacation getaways!
