Summer Science Camp

2018 SCIENCE SUMMER CAMP
Attention 1st through 6th graders!! The museum is offering a variety of Science sessions designed especially for you. 6 Weeks, 12 different fun filled grade appropriate sessions exploring the world of science and history.
(Space is limited to 24 students per session.)
June 25th-28th Archaeology/Anthropology 1-3rd and 4th -6th grade Learn how Ancient people and Native Americans lived, what they ate, how they cooked and survived.
NO CAMP JULY 2nd-6th Come by and see us at our Fireworks booth Target Parking lot East Hills
JULY 9th -12th
Junior Detective/CSI 1-3rd Learn to problem solve using the forensic techniques that the police and other investigators use to solve the mysteries of crimes stories!
Animals 4th -6th grade Learn about their Habitats, Food, Structure and Bones
JULY 16th – 19th
Shark Week! 1-3rd and 4th -6th grade The Big, the Bad, and the Ugly Sharks! Everything you want to know about Sharks
1st-3rd Recycle/Repurpose Learn to use recycled materials to make useful items
4th-6th Weird Science/Fun with Junk. Experiments and used for recycled items.
July 30 - Aug 2rd Dino Week! 1-3rd and 4th -6th grade The Big, the Bad, and the Ugly!Everything you want to know about Dinosaurs and their prehistoric world.
August 6th -9th Geology/Paleontology: 1st-4th Learn about Fossils, Rocks, Minerals
Junior Docent: 5th-7th grade Learn the museum’s ologie’s Anthropology, Archaeology, Biology, Paleontology, Geology and presentation skills too.
Sessions run Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Cost - $85.00 (Members of the BV Museum discount $75.00) per student/per session. Mid-morning snack, Camp T-shirt and all class materials included.
