Leap Year means an extra day in February. Expanding on our "More to Explore" slogan, the Bakersfield Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a "One More Day to Explore Bakersfield" campaign. Several Bakersfield hotels, attractions, and amenities are offering MORE on that one day, Wednesday, February 29, to those visiting California's ninth largest city. Simply present your train ticket at the Bakersfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (directly across the parking lot from the Bakersfield Amtrak Station) by 5PM that day and get one Free Companion Fare Coupon. Use of the coupon is subject to the terms and conditions listed on the coupon. Not valid on Pacific Surfliner trains 768,769, 775, and 784. You also will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket.
