Bakersfield Condors Hockey
The Bakersfield Condors are owned and operated by the five-time Stanley Cup winning Edmonton Oilers, and play in the American Hockey League – one of the top hockey leagues in the world and just one step away from the NHL. They play in the Pacific Division along with Ontario (CA), San Diego, Stockton and San Jose. Edmonton’s top prospect will first play here, in a league that turns out over 85% of all NHL players. The Condors have one of the strongest brands in all minor league sports in North America, providing family fun and entertainment to over 2 million fans over nearly two decades of play. A perennial local finalist for Best Family Entertainment, the Condors are also recognized for their work in the community through events like the annual Teddy Bear Toss. The Condors have also received national attention for their cutting-edge promotions such as Undie Sunday, promotional jerseys, and the occasional live condor escaping out on the ice. It is here in “Condorstown” where family fun and elite hockey combines to provide the top entertainment choice in Kern County.
